Providing secure mechanisms to protect personal data in a mobility platform

Abstract

Security and privacy preserving methods need to be developed to facilitate cloud usage even for organisations dealing with sensitive information and maintaining security critical services. A reasonable way to achieve the required security properties for outsourced data storage and processing thereby is by adopting suitable cryptographic mechanisms. Results of two European funded projects are combined to achieve a platform for inclusive mobility enhanced by cryptographic services which ensure protection of actual sensitive data of mobility impaired users.
